Picture Resize Genius v2.8



Picture Resize Genius allows you to batch resize a list of images. You can specify the new dimensions and maintain an aspect ration based on height or width, and also add an optional text watermark to the resized files. Furthermore, you can customize the output file name, using several dynamic parameters, as well as incremental number counts. Picture Resize Genius supports several resizing filter methods including Bicubic, Lanczos3, Nearest and others. No documentation provided.

Lindsay Dee Lohan (born July 2, 1986) is an American actress and pop music singer. Lohan started in show business as a child fashion model for magazine ads and television commercials. At age ten, she began her acting career in a soap opera; at eleven, she made her motion picture debut by playing both twins in Disney's 1998 remake of The Parent Trap. Lohan's breakout role as a leading actress came six years later with 2004's Mean Girls, which shone the media spotlight on her professional and personal lives—including her nightlife and her parents' marital and legal struggles.

As an adult, Lohan began to take on more varied roles and projects, including Robert Altman's final film, A Prairie Home Companion. While filming Herbie: Fully Loaded in 2004, Lohan launched her career in music, recording and releasing her first studio album, Speak; her second album, A Little More Personal (Raw), was released in 2005.

The resulting two image collections by the name of HDRIbase are for sale independently or bundled at www.sachform.de. Each collection offers 40 different environments.

Francesco Albani or Albano (March 17 or August 17, 1578–October 4, 1660) was an Italian Baroque painter.
Born at Bologna, his father was a silk merchant who intended to instruct his son in the same trade; but by age twelve, Albani became an apprentice under the competent mannerist painter Denis Calvaert, where he met Guido Reni. Soon he followed Reni to the so-called \"Academy\" run by the Carracci family: Annibale, Agostino, and Ludovico. This studio fostered the careers of many painters of the Bolognese school, including Domenichino, Massari, Viola, Lanfranco, Giovanni Francesco Grimaldi, Pietro Faccini, Remigio Cantagallina, and Reni.
Albani never acquired the monumentality or tenebrism that was quaking the contemporary world of painters, and in fact, is derided often for his lyric, cherubim-filled sweetness, which often has not yet shaken the mannerist elegance. While Albani\'s thematic would have appealed to Poussin, he lacked the Frenchman\'s muscular drama. His style sometimes appears to befit the decorative Rococo more than of his time.

Jacques-Laurent Agasse (April 24, 1767 - December 27, 1849) was an animal and landscape painter.
He was born at Geneva, and received his first instruction in the public art school of that city. Whilst still under twenty he went to Paris, in order that there, in the veterinary school, he might make himself fully acquainted with the anatomy of the horse and other animals. He seems to have subsequently returned to Switzerland.
The Tübinger Morgenblatt (1808, p. 876) says that \"Agasse, the celebrated animal painter, now in England, owed his fortune to an accident. About eight years ago, he being then in Switzerland, a rich Englishman asked him to paint his favourite dog which had died. The Englishman was so pleased with his work that he took the painter to England with him.\" Nagler says that he was one of the most celebrated animal painters at the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century.
In Meusel\'s Neue Miscellaneen (viii. 1052 et seq.), a comparison is instituted between Agasse and Wouvermans, wholly in favour of the former. In that partial article much is said of his extreme devotion to art, of his marvellous knowledge of anatomy, of his special fondness for the English racehorses, and his excellence in depicting them. He appears first in the Academy catalogues in 1801 as the exhibitor of the \'Portrait of a Horse\', and continued to exhibit more or less until 1845 (contradicting Nagler\'s statement that he died \"about\" 1806). In the catalogues his name is given as J.L. Agasse or Agassé. The number of times Agassé changed his address confirms Redgrave\'s assertion that \"he lived poor and died poor\". The writer of the panegyric already quoted says, however, that it was not for bread or for gain that he laboured, but that he was urged forward by the resistless force of natural genius.

Andreas Achenbach (September 29, 1815 - April 1, 1910) was a German landscape painter.
Born at Cassel, he began his art education in 1827 in Düsseldorf under Friedrich Wilhelm Schadow at the Düsseldorf Academy of Painting. In his early work he followed the pseudo-idealism of the German romantic school, but on removing to Munich in 1835, the stronger influence of Louis Gurlitt turned his talent into new channels, and he became the founder of the German realistic school. Although his landscapes evince too much of his aim at picture-making and lack personal temperament, he is a master of technique, and is historically important as a reformer.
A number of his finest works are to be found at the Berlin National Gallery, the New Pinakothek in Munich, and the galleries at Dresden, Darmstadt, Cologne, Düsseldorf, Leipzig and Hamburg.

He died in Düsseldorf.

Hendrick Avercamp, (1585 - May 15, 1634) was a Dutch painter.
Born in Amsterdam, The Netherlands he was baptized on January 27, 1585.
He was deaf and known as "de Stomme van Kampen" (the mute of Kampen). For his artistic training, Hendrick was sent to Amsterdam to study with the Danish portrait painter Pieter Isaacks (1569-1625). As one of the first landscape painters of the 17th-century Dutch school, he specialized in painting The Netherlands in winter. Avercamp's paintings are colorful and lively, with carefully crafted images of the people in the landscape.
Avercamp\'s work enjoyed great popularity and he sold his drawings, many of which were tinted with water-color, as finished pictures to be pasted into the albums of collectors. Queen Elizabeth II has an outstanding collection of his works at Windsor Castle, England.
Hendrick Avercamp died in Kampen, the Netherlands and was interred in the Sint Nicolaaskerk in Kampen.

Solomon Joseph Solomon, RA, (September 16, 1860, London - July 27, 1927, Birchington) was a British Pre-Raphaelite painter, of no relation to Simeon Solomon or his siblings Abraham and Rebecca. Solomon's family was Jewish, and his sister, Lily Delissa Joseph (nee Solomon), was also a painter.
Solomon studied at various art schools, sequentially, Heatherley's Art School, the Royal Academy Schools, the Munich Academy, and Ecole des Beaux-Arts (under Alexandre Cabanel). Solomon also studied separately under Rev. S. Singer. He exhibited his first works as early as 1881 at the Royal Academy, the New Gallery, and the Society of British Artists.
In 1886, he became one of the founding members of the New English Art Club. In 1896, he became an associate of the Royal Academy, with full membership following in 1906, one of the few Jewish painters to do so. He joined, and became president of, the Royal Society of British Artists in 1919.
Solomon\'s painting was grounded in his influence from his teacher Alexandre Cabanel, but was also influenced by Frederic Leighton and Lawrence Alma-Tadema. Solomon painted mainly portraits to earn a living, but also painted dramatic, theatrical scenes from mythology and the bible on large canvasses. These scenes include some of his more popular paintings. One of Solomon\'s most popular works was Samson (1887), depicting a scene from the biblical story of Samson and Delilah. This painting was praised for its use of multiple male nudes in active poses. Samson is one of few Solomon paintings on regular display, at the Walker Art Gallery in Liverpool. Some other Solomon paintings that have received significant attention include Ajax and Cassandra and The Birth of Love (1896).
Solomon became well-known as an innovative portrait artist by the time he painted Mrs. Patrick Campbell as \'Paula tanqueray\' (1894) and went on to paint a number of portraits of well-known people, including Sir Aston Webb, and later in life, the royals King George V, Queen Mary, and Prince Edward (later King Edward VIII).

Solomon was also in demand as an illustrator for books, particularly adventure books. In 1914, Solomon authored a book, \"The Practice of Oil Painting and Drawing\". During World War I, Solomon was a pioneer of camouflage techniques and painted camouflage on tanks and observation posts. He published a treatise on the subject in 1920.

The Illusion of Photographic Naturalism

When the following essay appeared in Arts Magazine (April, 1982) on the work and contribution of Pascal Adolphe Jean Dagnan-Bouveret (1852-1929) it represented a concerted effort to reveal the ways in which Dagnan-Bouveret had made significant changes to the evolution of naturalist painting and, by implication, to the academic tradition of which he was then considered a primary proponent.
Bouveret\'s paintings has continued, not only with further study of his naturalist imagery, but with a renewed interest in his later symbolist-religious compositions and his role in expanding portraiture during the Third Republic in France. In each of these instances, as we have gained a broader picture of the renewal of academic creativity, the position of Dagnan-Bouveret has loomed as dramatically significant. As an elected member to the Institut de France, as a replacement following the death of the still life painter Antoine Vollon in 1900, Dagnan-Bouveret became, by the time of his death, a staunch opponent of modernism and an avowed continuator of the opinions, traditions and direction of his mentor, Jean-Léon Gérôme. In effect, Dagnan-Bouveret, became an arch anti-modernist, was recognized as such at the time, as well as a proponent for the support of the entire academic tradition at the moment when it was coming under its fiercest attack from the modernist abstractionists.
Now, eighteen years after the appearance of the Arts Magazine article, Dagnan-Bouveret is about to become the focus of a major international exhibition that will open at the Dahesh Museum (Fall, 2002). The strains of his work that we first identified in 1982 - his interest in reconceptualizing contemporary scene painting, his photographic verisimilitude, Dagnan\'s ability to create new working methods both in drawings and paintings - have contributed to his growing deftness as a major late proponent of the revivified academic tradition. But Dagnan-Bouveret was more than this. He was capable of creating large-scale paintings that gave the impression of a \"virtual reality\", while, at heart, they were constructions that he had developed, enlarged, pursued in the quiet of his own studio. Dagnan-Bouveret\'s work reference a magical ability to understand the significance of new technology and how new approaches could develop a heightened range of creative possibilities, if they could be mastered by a painter with skill and creative imagination.

George Lambert was born in St Petersburg, Russia, in 1873 and arrived in Australia with his mother in 1887. Lambert commenced his art studies with Julian Ashton at Academie Julian in Sydney, 1896 -1900, then moved to Colarossi's and Atelier Delecluse in Paris in 1900-01. After a year in Paris, Lambert moved to London where he exhibited at the Royal Academy from 1904 until 1911 with great success. His reputation was firmly established however, through his work as a war artist in Palestine.
Lambert was appointed as an official war artist late in 1917. Attached to the AIF in Palestine, he left London on 25 December. During the journey he did the first of seventy-six drawings produced in 1918; many are portraits of the officers and men who were based in Egypt and Palestine.

Lambert was re-appointed in 1919 to travel to Gallipoli and to the Middle East to make preparatory drawings for the commissioned battle paintings. Some of the larger paintings took up to two years to complete. Lambert produced over 500 works for the Australian War Memorial during two official appointments and with post-war commissions.

When Lambert painted his sensitive portrayal of an Australian sergeant of the Light Horse, he intentionally created a new model for the military portrait. He chose not to paint the typical dashing sergeant on horse back in plumed hat, but concentrated on the essence of the sergeant's character, portraying an Australian individual who reflected an Australian type and his relationship with the land. The Australian Light Horse were mounted riflemen and were the product of the Australian countryside. They represented every aspect of Australia's rural industries from the large sheep and cattle stations to dairymen and orchardists.

The sitter was Thomas Herbert (Harry) Ivers who was a sergeant with the 1st Signal Squadron, and employed as a map maker for the War Records Section in Palestine. They met during Lambert's visit to Damascus in 1919 and Ivers was subsequently granted permission to assist Lambert in London from September 1919 until February 1920. Lambert painted the portrait from his studio in Kensington, London.

Summer has a small tattoo of a dolphin on her lower back, a butterfly tattoo on her neck, as well as a tattoo on her right wrist. Her tongue is also pierced.

On September 18, 2002, Summer appeared as a guest on The Howard Stern Show, where she openly discussed her bisexual experiences, including a sexual encounter she had with a fellow model that involved a strap on.

Lev (mass communication, Towson Univ.) examines how American cinema in the Seventies portrayed society's progress toward diversity and egalitarianism. Focusing on themes and genres rather than the auteur approach, Lev groups the 39 films discussed in chapters that include "Hippie Generation" (Five Easy Pieces, Alice's Restaurant), and "Whose Future?" (Star Wars, Alien). His academic, almost literary explication and interpretation works especially well with more cerebral films, such as Apocalypse Now, but is less successful with action films and "Blaxploitation to African American" films.
There are many good insights, including the observation that much of the philosophy and beliefs of the Sixties counterculture was not really portrayed in films until the very end of the decade (in films like Easy Rider) and then really flourished in the films of the Seventies. Lev also explores the impact of the increasing importance of marketing and the changing venues for films (cable, videos, pay-per-view). Marc Sigoloff's The Films of the Seventies (LJ 7/84), a detailed filmography of the period, is a good complementary reference source for Lev's essays. Recommended for academic and film libraries.
